Frequently asked questions

Hello and welcome to my website. My name is Sarah Jane Cawthray and I am a Classical Homoeopath who studied at the world-renowned Allen College of Homoeopathy in Chelmsford. My practice is in North End, a mile from Felsted in Essex and convenient for patients coming from the surrounding towns of Dunmow, Braintree, Thaxted, Bishop’s Stortford and Chelmsford.

If you have experienced homoeopathy you will know that it offers a very powerful alternative to conventional medicine and in many cases can be an effective treatment where conventional medicine has failed. If you are new to homoeopathy, then I hope that the information on this website encourages you to try using it – the benefits to you and your family will soon become obvious!

Homoeopathy (or Homeopathy) is a safe, effective, non-toxic treatment that takes a holistic view of the patient and has demonstrated results with acute and chronic illnesses. It addresses the root cause of an individual's disease, stimulating the body to heal itself. So not only can it help you get over an illness, but it will also help you avoid coming down with that illness again, giving you long term relief from your symptoms by strengthening your constitution and immune system.

Homoeopathy can be used to treat a whole range of complaints, including illnesses such as chronic fatigue syndrome or ME that doctors sometimes struggle to diagnose and find even harder to treat effectively. Among the many illnesses that I have successfully treated patients for, the following are some of the more common ones:

• Poor immune system
• Verrucae, warts and molluscum contagiosum
• Migraines and headaches
• Chest infections
• Otitis media & glue ear
• Tonsillitis
• Allergies & hay fever
• Dermatitis & eczema
• Chronic catarrh
• Digestive disorders
• Various menstrual disorders
• Depression and anxiety

I am registered with the Society of Homeopaths and as a Registered Member I adhere to its Code of Ethics and Practice, am subject to its professional conduct procedures and carry full professional indemnity and public liability insurance.
